IPL + VI Peel Brightening Combo

IPL PhotoFacial and VI Peel Precision Plus

REJUVENATION BRIGHTENING COMBINATION TREATMENT

We combined the IPL treatment with the VI Precision Plus Peel to boost the brightening effects of both treatments to give patients real results in just days. Consultations are needed prior to treatment as IPL PhotoFacials are not indicated for all skin types.

Once we determine you are a candidate for treatment, we do both services in one appointment! First we start with the IPL and focus on stubborn pigmentation and redness. The light from the IPL delivers heat into the skin, so once we complete the IPL treatment we then post-cool the skin before the VI Peel application.

The second step is the VI Precision Plus Peel application. Skin is prepped and the peel solution applied - no pain or stinging! Skin will have a slight orange tinge after treatment from the Retinoic acid which will go away after the peel self neutralizes (you will wait four hours after treatment to wash your face).

Before you leave our office we will go over the post care products to use. These are included with the treatment and you will use through the next week to protect and replenish your skin as it heals. We will schedule your two-week follow up and have you come back in the office so we can see your skin brightening progress! Consultations are needed, please reach out to our team to schedule and learn more!

IPL PhotoFacial

IPL PhotoFacial Treatment

The Intense Pulsed Light or IPL (which is often lumped into the laser category) is actually broad-spectrum light wavelengths which are absorbed at the lower layers of the dermis. The heat from the light promotes healing of the skin within and improves pigmentation, fine lines, sun-damage, broken capillaries and rosacea. While there are other treatments that offer similar benefits, the IPL treats the deeper skin layers, stimulating collagen production. Because IPL is a non-invasive, quick, and effective method to restore damaged skin, it has been the gold standard in aesthetic rejuvenation.

We love that the IPL treatment can be performed in conjunction with other facial skin procedures, such as chemical peels and dermaplanes. These treatments target epidermis (the outermost skin layer), and IPL treatments reach the deeper skin layers.

VI Precision Plus Chemical Peel

VI Precision Plus Chemical Peel

The VI Peel is a chemical peel solution with a powerful blend of medical peel ingredients to rejuvenate and exfoliate, giving you new skin in just seven days! The potent peel solution is gentle (no stinging like other peels!) and can be customized to depending on individual skin condition. Our practice offers the VI Peel which is perfect for first time peelers and anyone wanting mild to moderate rejuvenation. We also offer the VI Peel Precision Plus peel for moderate to severe pigmentation and rejuvenation, and melasma concerns. The Precision Plus Peel formula effectively suppresses melanogenesis (production of pigment and melanin) and promotes rapid cell turnover for improved skin tone.

The VI Peel is a medium depth peel so it works by rejuvenating the epidermis (the outermost skin layer) with topical exfoliants that create micro-injures forcing skin to peel away and stimulating new cell production, and it also rejuvenates top layers of the dermis to improve skin texture. We love that the VI Peel treatments can be performed in conjunction with other facial skin procedures such as lasers, IPL, and microneedling to enhance the results of these effective rejuvenation treatments.
